Christopher McDonald is a Justice on the Supreme Court of Iowa. He is the first Asian-American and first person of color to serve on the Supreme Court of Iowa. Christopher was born in Bangkok and raised in West Germany. Since moving to Iowa, Christopher has served on the board of directors and as the chairperson of the Iowa Asian Alliance. Christopher's family has long been in the restaurant industry, operating an Asian fusion restaurant (Cafe Shi) in Ames for a number of years.
