8th Annual CelebrAsian Scholar Application
Iowa Asian Alliance will award up to five $1000 scholarships to outstanding students with at least one year of trade school or higher education.
CelebrAsian Scholars will be selected based on their academic achievements, community service, leadership, and most importantly how they will or have embraced and showcased their culture and heritage!
Those interested in applying for the CelebrAsian Scholar must do the following:
Submit an application and a one-page essay.
Submit a high quality headshot image.
Showcase your traditional cultural attire by participating in the CelebrAsian Fashion Show on Saturday, May 25th, 2024.
Requirements to participate:
Must be a current HS senior or first year enrolled in a 2/4-year institution with at least one academic year left.
Identified as Asian, Asian American or Pacific Islander heritage by at least one parent.
Hold a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.
Demonstrate community service and leadership through school and/or volunteer work or within family and career.
Submit application and requirements online by midnight Sunday, May 5, 2024 to celebrasian.entertainment@iowaasianalliance.com

Finalists announced: Wednesday, May 15th, 2024
CelebrAsian Fashion Show participation: Saturday, May 25th, 2024
Winners Announced: Saturday, May 25th, 2024
