It began like a single grain of rice. Owners and chefs, Seng and Dala Chen started small, catering to local businesses and communities right out of their own home. The feedback was tremendous and inspired them to invest in their own restaurant. Over the years, with the help of many family members and friends, the single grain of rice sprouted, garnering a number of accolades and praises, including features in The Des Moines Register's Ultimate Guide, Datebook Diner, Juice, and DSM Magazine as well as The People's Choice Award for 3 consecutive years at The World Food and Music Festival.
