Carly Ross was the original owner of Proof Restaurant, Flour Pizza, and Prairie Canary Restaurants. From 2008-2014, Carly owned, operated and cooked in her restaurants, receiving a James Beard "Rising Star Chef of the Year" nomination in 2010 and Food and Wine's "The People's Best New Chef" nomination in 2011 and 2012. Her food has been featured in Bon Appetit, the New York Times, the Star Tribune, Food and Wine, and the Boston Globe. Carly attended graduate school in Thailand and is a big fan of all Southeast Asian foods. Currently, Carly is the director of a local non-profit organization that supports over 650 refugees each year.
