ICIU is now the Iowa International Center
The oldest and most established international agency to serve Iowans is approaching their 75th anniversary. To make it easier than ever to access the resources that welcome the world to Iowa and Iowa to the world, we have simplified our name. The Iowa Council for International Understanding is now the Iowa International Center. Visit their new website at www.iowainternationalcenter.org. Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps qualifying Iowan homeowners and renters pay for a portion of their heating costs. Applications are accepted on a first come/first served basis at your local Community Action Agency.
