As IAA grows, it is our goal to spread our vision and expand our membership across Iowa. For purposes of outreach and operations IAA had to restructure its composition to fit the needs of its members. As a result the former IAA Advisory Board is now known as our Central Chapter and the Eastern Chapter was formed in 2006.

The purpose of both the Central and Eastern Chapters are to provide a forum for leaders from each Asian American community to meet and inform each other and IAA about projects and issues pertinent to each respective community; to advise IAA on the direction and development of its programs and services that best serves the collaborative community; and to provide networking and cross-marketing opportunities to all interested parties.
